4.9 Address allocation for LON-Bus devices
Principle
The plug-in unit E3I040 is a normal I-Bus station like the plug-in line and control modules.
It is represented in the physical structure by the function unit ’FU LON’. As with the D-Bus
devices, the LON-Bus devices on the LON-Bus are defined by way of the parameter
’D-Bus address’.
Text display terminal B3Q580
The messages from maximum 4 sections within an area of the connected station can
be displayed on the B3Q580 text display terminal (the structures of other C-Bus stations
are not displayed).
The text display terminal is only represented in the physical structure. There is no link with
the logical structure:

Important note:
If after the text display terminal has been parameterized, the CSX numbers are moved
into the logical structure (e.g. when extending the structure), then the text displayed on
the terminal must be adjusted. Entries are not automatically adjusted!
Text /control terminal B3Q590
On the B3Q590 text / control terminal the messages from all areas of the connected
station are displayed.
In addition 3 freely-programmable LEDs are provided. This allows messages from any
nodes within the connected station to be displayed.
The text / control terminal is only represented in the physical structure. There is no link
with the logical structure:
