6.3 Memory modules
6.3.1 Installing and removing a memory module
The motherboard is equipped with one slot for an SO-DIMM DDR4 memory module. You can
use it to expand the memory capacity of the device to a maximum of 32 GB.
Usable memory modules
• DIMM DDR4 memory modules
• Memory transaction rate 3200 MT/sec "unbuffered"
• "without ECC" or "with ECC"
Note
Use only the memory modules recommended by Siemens AG.
Requirement
• The device is disconnected from the power supply.
• The device is open, see important information under "Opening and closing the backplane
cover (Page 68)".
Procedure - Removal
1.
Press the marked latches towards the out-
side.
The memory module tilts forward.

Pull the memory module out of the slot in
the direction o
f the arrow.
