4.11 Direct measuring system for position control (from SW 3.3)

SIMODRIVE 611 universal Description of Functions (FBU) – 04.05 Edition
The following should be observed when commissioning:
Prerequisites:
1. The direct measuring system must have been installed, connected
at X412 and the system must be ready to be powered up.
2. The specified rules and limitations have been maintained.
Procedure:
1. Enter an encoder code for the direct measuring system
The encoder code number is requested when first commissioning
the system in the ”Positioning” mode via P1036.

No DM P1036 = 0
DM available P1036 = 99 (unlisted encoder) and
enter data (refer to Chapter A.4)
2. Activate the direct measuring system
Set P0250 (A) to 1
3. Execute a POWER–ON RESET and check the function

suring systems:
