In conjunction with certified components, the safety functions of the SINAMICS S120 drive
system fulfill the following requirements:

Safety integrity level 2 (SIL 2) according to IEC 61508.

Category 3 according to DIN EN ISO 13849-1
•
Performance level (PL) d according to DIN EN ISO 13849-1
