When the IrDA adapter is connected correctly, a small icon appears on the taskbar of your PC.
When the mouse is placed on this icon, the device information will be shown (e.g. [FUS080
SN1033 is in range]).
6.5.2 Installing the device driver
Install the PDM device driver as follows:
1. Close SIMATIC PDM (if already open).
2. Open Device Integration Manager from [Start → All Programs → Siemens Automation
→ SIMATIC → SIMATIC PDM].
