Monitored input 2
Monitored input 2 has two active switching levels. It is provided for connecting two
contacts that report to the extinguishing control unit the "Open" and "Closed" states
of a mechanical shut-off valve.

1. Mechanical blocking device contact "Closed"

In programming step 4, you can select the following functions:

Option 6: To be used for mechanical blocking device, reports the "Mech.
blocked" condition when contact "Closed" is activated and "Normal"
when contact "Open" is activated

Option 7: Same as option 6, but reports the condition "Mech. blocked" and
"Autom. & Man. blocked" when contact "Closed" is activated
–
Option 8: When blocking devices are available for "Autom. & Man. blocked"
and "Manual only" conditions
–
Option 9: If "Activated" condition is to be initiated from an external source
–
Option 10: If the "Loss of extinguishing agent" condition is to be reported

NOTE
"Open" and "Closed" contacts for mechanical blocking:
Route the line of monitored input 2 directly to the contacts. Under no
circumstances must these be wired in parallel.
Requirement: Mechanical blocking device possible only with XCA1016 add-on
module.
