6.2.4 First application
In this application, the functions of the extinguishing control unit are forwarded to
the fire detector control unit, and commands from the fire detector control unit are
transmitted to the extinguishing control unit.
Signals to the fire detector control unit:
–
Contact 1 reports the state "Released" and if required also "Activated"
–
Contact 2 reports the state "Fault" as a common fault
–
Contact 3 reports the state "Fire alarm" and if required also "Activated"
–
Contacts 4 and 5 report the states "Manual only" and "Autom.& Man. blocked"
Signals from the fire detector control unit:
–
Control input 1 receives the signal for resetting the extinguishing control unit
–
Control input 2 receives the signal for blocking Autom. & Manual released
–
Control input 3 receives the signal for manual only released
Recommended setting of user programming:
Contact 1:
Activated in state "Released" until
"Reset"
(step 3 = option 1
PU2 jumper = NO)
Alternative: activated in state “Activated”
and “Released” until "Reset"
(step 3 = option 2
PU2 jumper = NO)
Contact 2:
Activated (immediate) in state "Fault"
until the cause is eliminated and "Silence
buzzer"
(step 3 = opt. 9 + 10
PU3 jumper = NO)
Contact 3:
Activated in state "Fire alarm" until
"Reset"
(step 3 = option 5
PU4 jumper = NO)
Alternative: activated in state "Fire alarm"
and "Activated" until "Reset"
(step 3 = option 6
PU4 jumper = NO)
Contact 4:
Activated in state "Manual only" (PU5 jumper = NC)
Contact 5:
Activated in state "Autom. & Man.
blocked"
(PU6 jumper = NO)
Control input 1:
RESET inhibited:
- upon "Fire alarm" accepted only after
"Silence buzzer"
- upon "Activated"/"Released" accepted
only after "Silence horn" and running
time of control line 4/5 has elapsed
(step 9 = option 10)
Control input 2:
To trigger "Autom. & Man. blocked" (step 15 = option 3)
Control input 3:
To trigger "Manual only" (step 15 = option 14)
