10 Detailed procedures
10.1 Enabling access level 1
Normally, operation of the extinguishing control unit is blocked.
Access to level 1 is always possible, only the keys “Silence buzzer” and “Lamp
test” are active.
10.2 Checking all optical and acoustic elements of the control unit
Check that the optical and acoustic elements of the control unit function correctly.
Proceed as follows:
1. Press the key "Lamp test".
All LEDs light up and the buzzer sounds for approx. 5 seconds.
2. Check whether all LEDs light up and the buzzer sounds.
10.3 Enabling access level 2
Normally, operation of the extinguishing control unit is blocked. Operation - Access
level 2 - is enabled using the access code.
In order to enable Access level 2 by using the access code, proceed as follows:
1. Enter the access code "4233" via the numeric keys.
The "Operating access" LED lights up and operation is enabled.
2. To block Access Level 2 again, you must wait. Access level 2 is automatically
blocked again three minutes after the last entry.
The "Operating access" LED is no longer lit.
10.4 Test the alarm horn
The alarm horn test relates to monitored control line 1.
Proceed as follows:
1. Set the system on Access level 2.
2. Press and hold down key "Digit 3" and press key "Lamp test".
Control line 1 is active for 30 seconds.
LED 20 flashes slowly for 30 seconds
3. Press key "Silence Re-sound horn" or "Lamp Test" or "Reset".
The alarm horn is silenced before the 30 seconds elapse.
10.5 Testing the warning panel
The warning panel test relates to monitored control line 3.
Proceed as follows:
1. Set the system on Access level 2.
2. Press and hold down key "Digit 4" and press key "Lamp test".
Control line 3 is active for 30 seconds.
LED 22 flashes slowly for 30 seconds.
3. Press key "Silence Re-sound horn" or "Lamp test" or "Reset".
The warning panel is turned off before the 30 seconds elapse.
