6.1.3 Monitored control lines

Monitored control line 1
Monitored control line 1 is provided for the connection of alarm horns. By use of
different tones, the alarm horn signals a fire alarm, the "activated" condition and the
"released" condition.

In programming step 5 you can set the alarm tones and the duration of the active
alarm horn using options 1 to 14 as follows:
Fire alarm: Option 1 = Continuous
Option 2 = Pulsating slow (1 sec active / 4 sec inactive)
Option 3 = Not activated
Activated: Option 4 = Pulsating fast (1sec active / 1sec inactive)
Option 5 = Pulsating fast and pulsating slow in state "Emergency
hold or abort"
Option 6 = Continuous
Option 7 = Continuous and pulsating slow in state "Emergency hold
or abort"
Option 8 = Pulsating long (4 sec active/1sec inactive) and pulsating
fast in state "Emergency hold or abort"
Released: Option 9 = Pulsating fast
Option 10 = Continuous
Duration: Option 11 = Active until "Silence Re-sound horn" or "Reset"
Option 12 = Active until "Reset"
Option 13 = Same as option 11 but only after expiry of 5min timer
Option 14 = Same as option 11 but only after expiry of 30min timer
In the basic configuration of the alarm horn, the configuration is as follows:
Continuous tone on "Fire alarm" condition (= option 1)
Pulsating fast on "Activated" and pulsating slow in state "Emergency hold or
abort" condition (= option 5)
Pulsating fast on "Released" condition (= option 9)
Triggering of the horn continues until "Silence Re-sound horn" or "Reset" (=
option 11)
