Error display
Errors are indicated by means of flashing codes. The red ERROR LED on
the board provides information about each error. The flashing codes
indicate the possible cause of the error by emitting a certain number of
flashing pulses. There is a pause of one second before the flashing code
is repeated.
In the event of a solenoid valve error, the red ERROR LED indicates a
basic solenoid valve error (ERROR LED lights up continuously). The
yellow status LEDs assigned to the solenoid valves emit a flashing code
to indicate the type of error affecting the solenoid valve concerned (error
codes for short circuit and disruption in the line).
Errors continue to be indicated throughout the entire time they remain
pending. The next time the relevant actuator function is activated without
errors, the associated LED goes out.
As a basic principle, only the error with the highest priority is indicated. If
multiple errors have been detected, they are indicated in order of priority.
Once the error with the highest priority has been corrected, the error with
the next lowest priority is indicated.
Sensor/actuator switch statuses
Switch statuses of selected actuators, sensors, and switches are
indicated via yellow LEDs, which light up (e.g. solenoid valve, water
monitor switched). In addition, flash frequencies are used to indicate
particular operating situations (e.g. instrument removed, instrument
active, amalgam separator 95% full).

Function pad concept
The function pads simulate the input signal of the relevant function on the
board. If the function pad is jumpered and the function is triggered, you
must search for the error at the input signal.
If the function is not triggered, you must check the output LEDs for the
relevant function. If the output LED for the function linked to the jumpered
function pad lights up, you must look for the error on the board.
Otherwise, the error is located on one of the downstream components.
Examples
SPRAY function pad on DSA
S52 function pad (flushing for suction hose cleaning) on DWB
SS_ALL function pad (jumper safety switch) on DSA
