Chair movement self-test

Explanation
If there has been no chair movement within the past 6 hours, a brief self-
test is performed when the treatment center is switched on to check the
movement of the chair.
Exceptions
The treatment center does not perform a self-test under the following
circumstances:
● The treatment center is in test mode.
● An incompatible lifting drive has been connected.
● No dentist element has been connected (e.g. installation of chair
base).
● The DAB board in the dentist element is not detected by the system.
● A safety switch is active (e.g. cuspidor retracted).
IMPORTANT
Automatic chair movement during treatment center self-test
When the treatment center is switched on, the lifting drive briefly moves
the chair up and down as part of a self-test.
The lifting drive performs this self-test when the treatment center is
switched on under the following circumstances:
- When it is switched on for the first time
- If there has been no chair movement within the past 6 hours
- If no safety switch is active
IMPORTANT
Treatment center self-test not fully completed
If any safety switches are active when the treatment center is switched
on, the self-test is not completed.
➢ Eliminate the cause, for example: Swivel the cuspidor toward the
water unit.
