Stihl TS 700, TS 800 - Ribbed V-Belt; Starter Cup

– Remove bearing with guard,
see b 5.1
: Remove screws from starter
cover (arrows).

: Remove starter cover (1)

: Remove the ribbed V-belt (1)
from the belt pulley.
– Reassemble parts in reverse
order.
– Tightening torques, b 3.6

– Remove starter cover and relax
the ribbed V-belt, b 5.1
– Remove cap and spark plug,
b 7.4
: Push the locking strip (1)
0000 893 5903 as far as possible
into the cylinder.
– Fit the piston.

: Unscrew the nut (arrow) from the
starter cup.

: Pull out starter cup.

Note:
Ensure that the washer (1) is
present before fitting the starter cup.
– Slide the starter cup onto the
shaft.
– Screw on the nut.

– Block the piston and screw the
nut tight.
– Tightening torques, b 3.6
– Reassemble remaining parts in
reverse order.
