: Slide the connectors of the
cleaned or replaced pick-up
body (2) into the fuel hose (1).

: Push the pick-up body (2) into the
tank filler port and draw it into the
tank with the fuel hose (1).
– The pick-up body should be
positioned at the lowest point
inside the tank.

– Reassemble remaining parts in
reverse order.
– Remove the carburetor,

– Remove the filler cap.
: Use a suitable tool to remove the
fuel hose (2) and elbow
connector (1).

– Check the fuel hose (1) and
elbow connector (2) and replace
if necessary.

: Press the fuel hose (1) with elbow
connector (2) into the intake hose
(3) as far as possible.
: Remove the pick-up body (2)
from the fuel hose (1).

: Push the fuel hose (1) back into
the tank.
– Pull the fuel hose out of the tank
housing and check it; it must be
replaced if necessary.
