Stihl TS 700, TS 800 - 8.5 Flywheel Removal and Installation

– Install the ignition module and
adjust the distance between
ignition module and flywheel,
b 8.1.1
– Reassemble remaining parts in
reverse order.
– Remove the cap, b 7.4
– Remove the fan cover, b 7.5
: Remove the spark plug boot (1).
: Unscrew the spark plug (2).

: Push the locking strip (1)
0000 893 5903 as far as possible
into the cylinder.
– Position the piston against the
locking strip (1).

: Unscrew the nut (1).

– Place the thrust piece of the
puller over the threaded stub.
: Screw the puller (1) 1106 890 450
into the flywheel.
: Turn the screw (2) of the puller
clockwise until the flywheel

comes off the tapered end of the
crankshaft stub.
