– Remove the shroud, see b 7.4
: Remove screws from the muffler
(arrows).
– Remove the muffler.

: Mount flange (1) 4224 893 2501
on the cylinder exhaust port and
screw in the screws (arrows) half-
way.
: Slide the sealing plate (2)
0000 855 8106 between flange
and cylinder exhaust port and

tighten down the two screws
(arrows).
Note:
The sealing plate must fill the full
width between the screws.
– Remove the carburetor,
see b 12.2.1
– Set the piston to the top dead
centre. This can be checked
through the inlet port.
: Check that the sleeve (1) is
present in the manifold.

: Check that the pin (1) and sealing
ring (2) have been fitted on test
flange 4224 890 1200, or fit them
if necessary.

: Mount test flange (1)
4224 890 1200 instead of the
carburetor.
Important:
The pin must be correctly located in
the impulse hose (2) when fitting the
test flange.

: Remove the decompression
valve (1), see b 7.9

: Screw in the plug (1)
4221 025 2200 instead of the
decompression valve and tighten
it down securely.
– Check that the spark plug has
been screwed in and tighten it
down securely.
