: Slide the e-clip (1) into the groove
in the axle pin.

: Hook the throttle rod (1) into the
throttle trigger (2) from below and
draw it into the groove in the
throttle trigger with a suitable tool
until the throttle rod engages in
the throttle trigger.

Note:
The throttle rod may work loose
during operation if it is not properly
engaged.
Check correct functioning.
Reassemble remaining parts in
reverse order.
Dirty air filters reduce engine power,
increase fuel consumption and
make starting more difficult.
The air filter should be checked
when there is a noticeable loss of
engine power.
Refer also to troubleshooting,

: Remove the screw (arrow) from
the filter cover (1).
Remove the filter cover.

: Remove the screws (arrows)
from the filter housing (1).
Remove the filter housing.
Clean away loose dirt from
around the filter.

: Remove the air filter (1) from the
air filter housing (2).
Clean away loose dirt from
around the filter.
Check the filter and replace it if
damaged or dirty.

Note:
The air filter components for this
machine are carefully matched. For
this reason, the auxiliary filter must
always be replaced together with
the main filter.
Note:
The quality of the filter elements
used is particularly important on
account of the special operating
conditions prevailing when using a
cut-off machine.
