The handlebar clamp (1) must be
removed first in order to remove the
rubber buffer.

: Take out the screws (arrows).
– Steady the nuts on the back with
a suitable wrench when
unscrewing the screws.
: Undo screw (arrow).
– Take off the rubber buffer, stop
buffer and sleeve.
: Note the installation sequence.
– Reassemble remaining parts in
reverse order.
– Tightening torques, b 3.6
Damaged rubber buffers (annular
buffers) must always be replaced.
Rubber buffer on ignition side
– Remove the fan cover, b 7.5
: Prise the plugs (arrows) out of the
rubber buffers.
: Remove the screws (arrows)
from the rubber buffers.
