: Push the lever (1) onto the
throttle shaft.
Note:
Ensure that the flat faces on the
lever and throttle shaft are lined up
when fitting the lever.

– Insert the screw in the lever and
tighten it down.
– Tightening torques, b 3.6
– Check correct functioning and
easy movement again.
If actuation of the air flap shaft is stiff
and/or the air flap cannot be opened
or closed properly:
– Remove the carburetor,
b 12.2.1
– Troubleshooting on the
carburetor, b 4.4
– Remove the air flap shaft, then
clean the shaft and shaft guides
with a little standard solvent-
based degreasant not containing
any chlorinated or halogenated
hydrocarbons.
– Remove the air flap rod,
b 12.3.8
: Undo screw (arrow).
– Turn the air flap shaft until the air
flap is horizontal.

: Use a suitable tool to pull the air
flap (1) out of the slot in the air
flap shaft on the throttle shutter
side.
: Remove the circlip (arrow) with a
suitable tool.
: Pull the ring (1) and O-ring (2) off
the air flap shaft.
