: Remove the roll pins (arrows)
with a suitable punch.

: Remove the switch (1) from the
guide.
Remove the cap when fitting a new
switch.

Note:
Check correct operation before
fitting a new short circuit wire,
b 8.6.1
– Untie the string from the old wire
and tie it to the new wire.
: Fit straight pins.
– Line up the switch.
– Drive home the roll pins with a
suitable punch until they are
flush.

: Pull the short circuit wire (1) in
below the carburetor with the
help of the string.

: Use a deflector when pulling the
wire through between cylinder
and tank housing.

: Place the short circuit wire and
ground wire in the cable guide
(arrow).

The diagram shows the cable
guides on the dismantled tank
housing for clarity.
: Place the short circuit wire in the
cable guides (arrows).
Note:
376RA194 TG
The wires must be seated securely
in the cable guides. Loose wires
may touch the hot cylinder and be
damaged.
– Reassemble remaining parts in
reverse order.
