: Turn the rod (1) and take it out of
the oblong hole in the throttle
shutter lever.
– Replace the rod.
– Reassemble parts in reverse
order.

Removal and installation of the
complete air flap rod
: Take out the screws (arrows) in
the upper and lower levers.

: Pull off the upper lever (1).

: Unhook and relax the torsion
spring (arrow).

: Use a suitable tool to prise the
lower lever (1) and torsion spring
off the air flap shaft.

Note the installed position when
removing and installing the torsion
spring (1).
– Reassemble parts in reverse
order.
Note:
