: Screw on nuts (arrows) and
tighten them down until the test
flange lies completely flush
against the carburetor.

: Turn the lower lever
anticlockwise until the rod (1) is
securely pressed against the
upper end of the oblong hole in
the lever (arrow).

The lever (1) must not be at the top
dead centre = TDC.
: Press the air flap shut with a
suitable blunt tool (arrow) and
hold it shut.
: Align the lower lever (1) in

accordance with position (A) so
that the rod (2) is vertical.
– Press the lever (1) onto the
ribbed part of the air flap shaft.
The air flap lever is now fixed in
position.
: Insert the screw (1) and tighten it
down.

– Wind the leg spring (1) roughly
one turn anticlockwise to tension
it.
: Hook the leg spring (1) into the
elbow connector (arrow).

– Check correct functioning.
: Throttle shutter (arrow) and air
flap (arrow) must be horizontal in
full throttle position.
When the throttle shutter opens, the
air flap opens with a delay equal to

roughly one-third of the throttle
shutter opening.
– Reassemble parts in reverse
order.
