to ensure the effect of dust collecting.
(5) Close the water pump or the outlet control valve to save water while the assembly,
disassembly and machine moving.
(6) Close the water pump to save water if there’s no dust during drilling.
(7) The water pump should be closed, the air compressor switch should be on to exhaust the
air for 30 seconds, thus drying the water in the pipelines, kelly bar, impactor and drill bit to
prevent rust after drilling and before day-off.
（8 ）Observe the water level in the tank at any time, refill water immediately when water
level drop to the lower position. The water pump is forbidden to run when there’s no water or
low water level in the tank.
Maintenance
（1）Pay attention to keep the wet-type dust collection system clean, wipe off dust and oil
pollution in time.
（2）Check the water level in tank, pipeline connection, tightening the loosening joints in
time before the start-up of every shift.
（3）Open the drain valve on the bottom of the tank to let out the sediments till clean water
discharges.
Trouble Shooting
（1）Check the working condition of jetting machine water pump and adjust the water pump
outlet pressure if there’s no water coming out, more details, please refer to its operation manual.
（2）Small water volume or low water feeding pressure, check backwater regulating valve to
turn down the valve.
（3）Tighten the loosening joints in time if there’s leakage of the pipeline.
（4）Check the seal ring of the inlet water regulating valve or the backwater regulating valve
if there’s leakage.
（5）Change damaged pipelines or joints if there’s crack or leakage.
10.8 TRAVEL MECHANISM
The travel mechanism consists of travel frame, hydraulic motor, multistage planetary
reductor, crawler, sprocket, idler, carrier roller and tension device.
It’s driven independently by the hydraulic motor through multistage planetary reductor
which is hidden between the crawler span.
Crawler tensioning device includes grease cylinder, tension spring. The machine is installed
