7.2 OIL, COOLANT AND FILTER ELEMENT
7.2.1 Lubricating oil and hydraulic oil
Oil may go bad while the engine and working device work in poor working condition (high
temperature, high pressure).
The lubricating oil should be used the same level and temperature specified in the
“Operation & Maintenance Manual”.
Oil should be changed even if it’s not dirty in the specified time.
While maintenance, pay attention to prevent impurity entering (water, metal particle, dust),
because many problem of the machine are caused by the entering of impurity.
Do not mix lubricating oil of different grades or brands together.
Fill up oil as specified capacity. Too much or too less will cause bad lubrication and lead to
machine malfunction.
If in the working device, the oil is dirty, there’s water or air entering into the oil line. Please
contact with SUNWARD or local authorized distributor.
The related filter element should be changed while replacing oil, especially when changing
engine filter element, fresh and clean engine oil comply with regulation should be filled
into it.
It’s recommended to analyze oil quality regularly for checking the status of machine. If this
service is needed, please contact with SUNWARD or specified authorized distributor.
The hydraulic system has been filled with oil of SUNWARD when the machine is
delivered from factory.
The filter element is easy to clog if the used hydraulic oil isn’t recommended by
SUNWARD, please do not use that.
Please clean off residual oil in the line or in the cylinder before changing hydraulic oil.
7.2.2 Fuel Oil
Fuel injection pump is a precise part, it won’t work if there’s any water or dirty things in fuel
oil.
Pay attention to not let the impurity enter while storing or filling fuel.
