7.1.9 Maintenance for Hydraulic System
The hydraulic system is in high temperature while working or after working. It’s still in
high pressure while operation. Thus, following details should be attached much attention
to.
Park the machine on a firm level ground, lower the bucket to the ground.
Shut down the engine and release the pressure in the hydraulic pipe.
After finishing operation, the pressure and temperature of hydraulic oil and lubricating oil
are very high, the maintenance should be done after they cool down.
Even if the temperature is low, the pressure is still there. Don’t stand dead ahead the parts
while loosening the screw plug, screw or hose fittings, loosen them slowly to release inner
pressure.
The inner air and pressure should be released before checking or maintaining the hydraulic
oil line.
Inspection and maintenance includes: check hydraulic oil level, clean or change filter
element, fill up the hydraulic oil according to the oil level.
Check the O-ring for damage while dismantling the high-pressure hose. Change if it’s
damaged.
