7.9 Maintenance under Special Conditions
Operating Condition
Maintenance Content
In mud, water, or rain
1. Check the connectors, nuts, bolts if there is slack or loss Check
the machine if there is visible damage or leakage or not.
2. After operating, remove mud, rock, sands from the machine and
check welding parts if they are damaged, cracked, or slack.
3. Do lubrication and maintenance every day.
4. If operating in acid rain or corrosive matter, wash the affected
parts with water.
In dusty or high temperature
environment
1. Clean the air filter core more frequently.
2. Wash the radiator and radiating rib of oil cooler to remove the
dust and dirt.
3. Clean the fuel sucking filter core and filter more frequently.
4. Clean regularly, especially the intercommunion generator and
rectifier surface of starter.
In rocky road environment
1. Operate carefully. Check the chassis and crawler assembly if
there is damage or much wear and tear.
2. Check connectors, nuts, bolts if there is slack, damage or loss.
3. Check the drilling frame or drilling head if they are damaged or
badly wore and torn.
4. If necessary, install protecting frames on top and front of
machine to avoid damage by drooping objects.
In cold weather
1. Use high quality low viscidity oil according to environmental
temperature.
2. Use frostbite preventing oil according to environmental
temperature.
3. Charge battery a little earlier than usual. If charge the battery not
enough, the electrolyte would be frozen
4. Remove off the mud from the machine in time to avoid freezing
of mud and damage to the machine.
