（3）Check the tightness of feeding mechanism chain regularly.
（4）Pay attention to the working status of hole drilling, sediments removing, dust collection
etc. Stop the machine immediately and resolve the problem once finding that no entering of the
drilling, or acutely swing of Kelly bar, abnormal sound, or no work of impactor.
（ 5 ） Loose the connecting joint between Kelly bar and impactor from time to time. If the
connecting is too tight, the Kelly bar would be difficult to fall down.
6.3 ASSEMBLY OF AUXILIARY KELLY BAR
(1) The motor pilot valve controlled lever would return when the rotating structure has slid to
terminal end of the drilling frame.
(2) Move the drilling tool up and down within short distance by motor pilot valve controlled
lever to blow away the rock powder.
(3) Turn “Drilling” switch to OFF position.
(4) Lift up the main Kelly bar properly. Connect rotating mechanism onto its tongs mouth.
Clamp it by down rod UNLOADER, clamp rotating mechanism by up rod UNLOADER. Loose
the connecting screw between rotating mechanism and main Kelly bar by rod discharging
cylinder and disconnect them by reversion rotating of rotating mechanism.
(5) Open tongs mouth of up rod UNLOADER and lift the rotating mechanism to tiptop of
drilling frame.
(6) Operate the claw cylinder the mechanical boom to open the claw.
(7) The index motor on the rod carousel works to rotate the second Kelly into the claw and
clamp that.
(8) The swing cylinder of the mechanical boom works to push the second kelly bar to the center
of swing mechanism accurately.
(9) Lower rotating mechanism. Connect it to the Kelly bar by slowly positive rotating per the
screw thread. Never insert it directly to avoid damage of the screw thread.
(10) Press down the clamping claw floating switch and keep the claw floating, and push the
Kelly downward to the position of male thread of the first Kelly, rotate the rotary head to
connect the first Kelly with the second Kelly.
(11) Press down and hold the clamp opening switch and keep it open.
(12) The swing cylinder of the mechanical boom works to swing the boom to the rod carousel.
(13) Release the claw of the lower rod UNLOADER, and lower the drilling tool to the hole
bottom.
(14) Push the pilot control lever of feed motor to the position of “Drilling tool feed”, rotate the
swing mechanism clockwise, and start the impactor to keep drilling.
