6.6 PRECAUTIONS FOR THE FALLING-BACK OF DRILL
FRAME
（1）When the drill stand falls back, the compensation cylinder must be fully extended.
（2）The rotary head must be pushed down to the sensor attachment position.
（3）When placing the drill frame to the track, it should be lowered slowly.
（4）During the whole process of failing personnel should observe, command and coordinate
operation of operators. The horizontal state of the drill stand is shown in the figure:
6.7 MACHINE MAINTENANCE
（1）Always check all parts of machine for damages, transformation and welding defects.
（2）Check all the bolts, screws. Especially for the screws, bolts of rotating mechanism, tighten
and fix them more frequently.
（3）Pay attention if there is abnormal sound or high temperature for diesel engine and hydraulic
motor.
（4）Check the electric circuitry and every switch and button.
（5）Check cable rubber sleeve and hydraulic hoses.
（ 6 ） Lubricate machine regularly and correctly. It is very important for the machine to be
operated smoothly and have longer service lifetime.
