 Slide the fuel handle to stop position; turn the ignition key to “OFF” position.
 Switch off pilot control.
 Close window, sky window, and cabin.
Safety of your machine and personnel should be ensured under any condition.
1.17 SAFE MAINTENANCE
 Maintenance Steps:
 Understand the maintenance rules before working.
 Keep the working area clean and dry.
 Don’t lubricate or maintain a moving machine.
 Keep body and clothing from touching any moving parts.
 Prepare for maintenances:
 Place the machine on flat ground.
 Lower the supporting leg on the
ground or lower the drilling mast on
the bracket.
 Run engine at low rev for 5
minutes.
 Pull stop handle forward, stop
engine, and take out key from the
ignition.
 Hang the “Machine out of Duty”
plate at control lever.
 Switch off pilot control.
