Display Message Key LED
To add a new entry to Personal Directory:
1. Press
[DIRECTORY] or dial the Directory feature code #1994. DIRECTORY
SEARCH: ON
2. Dial #1. NAME:
ON
3. Enter the name of your contact (up to 16 characters including spaces) NAME:

ON
using the alphanumeric keys (see “Keypad - Alphabetic Mode” on page 53
and “Editing Keys” on page 54).
4. Press key to move to the Number field.
NUM:
ON
5. Enter the external telephone number of your contact party. NUM:
dial number
ON
(Do not enter the outside line access code).
6. Press key to save the entry (an asterisk marks the saved entry as
SEARCH:

a Personal Directory entry)
or
Dial asterisk (

) to save the entry and to place a call to the saved contact. OUT

Note: 1) Any attempt to make an entry in excess of the number of entries
allowed by the system will fail. The following message will appear:
OUT OF RANGE
2) Any attempt to assign a dial number already existing in the
Directory to a new contact will fail. The following message will
appear:
