6.3 BRAKE CALIBRATION
6.3.1 WHEN MUST THE BRAKE CALIBRATION BE DONE?
Brake calibration must be done:
when removing a component that interacts with the braking system (e.g: ywheel, knob,
Hall sensor, etc.);
when replacing the Watt Sensor board;
when, turning the brake knob, the levels shown on the display do not change correctly;
after launching the command ‘WRITE TORQUE TABLE’ or ‘PROGRAM WATT SENSOR
BOARD’, from the Equipment Software Loader.
6.3.2 PROCEDURE
The brake calibration takes place with the following phases:
1. Mechanical regulation of the brake position, AND
2. Soft calibration.
For details see, in sequence, the following paragraphs.
6.3.2.1 MECHANICAL REGULATION OF THE BRAKE POSITION
The operations to perform for mechanical product regulation are as follows:
1. Remove the right brake casing.
2. Loosen the knob (1) until the brake (2) reaches its limit.
