Analyze Waveform Data
Using cursor readouts
Cursor readouts supply textual and numeric information relating to the current cursor positions.
Readouts appear in the upper right corner of the graticule. If Zoom is on, the readout appears in the upper right corner of the
zoom window. The oscilloscope always shows the readouts when t he cursors are turned on. When a bus is the currently selected
waveform, the readout is the d ecoded bus data in whatever format you have selected (hexadecimal o r binary).
∆ Readout:
The ∆ readouts indicate the difference between
the cursor positions.
a Readout:
Indicates th e value is controlled by multipurpose
knob a.
b Readout:
Indicates th e value is controlled by multipurpose
knob b.
The horizontal cursor lines on the d isplay
measure the vertica l parameters, typ ically
voltage.
