5 MEMORY MANAGE MODE
5.2 Protect a File
Protecting one or more les can be accomplished with the le protection mode. When a le is
protected, an asterisk appears after the le name extension. If a le is protected, you can not delete the
le unless you remove the le protection.
Note:All the files stored will be erased by initializing the memory, even if the files are protected.
Operating procedure Operation Display
The memory capacity and the remaining
memory capacity are shown by pressing
[F3](Mem) from Main Menu Icons.
1 Select a le using [F5]() key or [F6]() key.
2 Press [F1](Pro) key.
Select a
le
[F1]
3 Press [F5](ON) key. *1)
The le is protected and display will return to
le name. *2)
[F5]
*1) When you cancel the protection, repeat the procedure above mentioned and select [F6](OFF) key.
*2) If the le is protected, “ * ” is shown next to the le name.
