naset -s Pro48
to congure the
DAT-Link
+ for input and output to the ProPort at 48,000
samples/second. If a dierent sampling rate is required, use the appropriate
entry from Table 11.1 instead of
Pro48
. The last setting in Table 11.1 indicates
that the ProPort should use the
DAT-Link
+'s digital audio output clo ckto
derive the sampling rate.
5. Load the
DAT-Link
+'s DSP32C with the ProPort I/O program:
naloaddsp PRO16
Note that the \16" sux applies only for
DAT-Link
revision 1.6. For
DAT-
Link
revision 1.5 use
PRO15
instead.
6. Playback and/or record les via the ProPort using the
naplay
and
narecord
programs. The programs will function as described in Sections 5 and 6 with
the following exceptions:
Sample-rate conversion (
-s
option) is not available. All input and output
will b e at the rate set for the ProPort as indicated in Table 11.1.
The
-S
option will have no eect.
Only linear encoding with 16 bits/sample will be available.
7. To switch back to using the
DAT-Link
+'s digital inputs and outputs for play-
back and recording, type:
