Lo opback
Non-zero if lo opback testing is enabled. Used only by the
naloop
pro-
gram.
It also possible to display exact values for the current VU levels and buering
available by adding the
-x
option to the command.
The
curses(3)
package is used for screen updates. The screen must have at least
24 rows and 80 columns for prop er display.
10.3 Controlling NetAudio Server Parameters
Various parameters of the
DAT-Link
and the NetAudio server can be set using
the
naset
client program. This program can be used whether or not recording
or playback is currently underway | the changes take eect immediately. Where
applicable, the changes can be limited to either the playbackorrecord functions
by additionally sp ecifying the
-P
or
-R
option resp ectively. The parameters under
control are:
Gain:
This is an overall gain factor for playback or recording. The
-g
option to
naset
is used to set this parameter.
VU Decay:
The decay rate of the VU metering in dB/second. The default is 40
dB/second. This is set using the
-v
option.
Pause Control:
Playback or recording can be paused or resumed at any time
using the
-p
or
-r
options. Pausing playback inserts zeroes into the digital
audio output stream. Pausing record discards incoming samples.
Clo ck Source:
The clo ck source for playback and clo ck output from the external
clock connector can b e specied using the
-S
option. Following the
-S
ag,
the following letters can be sp ecied:
O:
Select the internal oscillator.
E:
Use the external clo ck connector as a clo ck input.
I:
Use the incoming digital audio data as the clock source.
G:
Output the clo ck on the external clock connector.
DSP Serial Mo de:
This option allows the
DAT-Link
's DSP chip's serial p ort to
be congured. Once set, the mode selected remains in eect until changed
by a subsequent
naset
command. The serial mode is set using the
-s
option
followed by one of the following keywords. Note that manyofthese mo des
are available only on the
DAT-Link
+; the original
DAT-Link
supports only
AES/EBU
and
IR
.
