10.3 Controlling NetAudio Server Parameters 91
AES/EBU:
This is the normal mo de for the
DAT-Link
. With this setting,
the DSP32C's serial p ort is connected to the digital audio inputs and
outputs.
AES/EBU-Override:
This is the same as the previous mode except that
the
DAT-Link
+, version 1.6 or later will not wait for other devices con-
nected via the external
Sync
connector b efore b eginning. This is useful
for playback and recording from a single unit when multiple units are
connected together.
GP-Int:
The DSP32C's serial p ort is connected to the
DSP-Port
. The clo ck
and load lines should be generated by the DSP32C and are output on
the appropriate pins of the
DSP-Port
.
GP-Ext:
The DSP32C's serial port is connected to the
DSP-Port
. The clo ck
and load lines should b e generated externally and are inputs to the
DAT-
Link
's DSP32C processor.
GPDelay-Int:
Similar to GP-Int except the incoming data is delayed by one
bit-time.
GPDelay-Ext:
Similar to GP-Ext except the incoming data is delayed by
one bit-time.
AES-Rx:
The digital audio input is used as the source of input data to the
DSP32C, but the
DSP-Port
is used for output. Clo cking for b oth the
input and output is locked to the digital audio input.
AES-Tx:
Input is taken from the
DSP-Port
and output is sent to the digital
audio output. Clo cking for both input and output is lo cked to the digital
audio output.
Pro8:
This mode p ermits both input and output to be routed via an Ariel
ProPort connected to the
DAT-Link
+'s
DSP-Port
. See Section 11.3.1
for details on using the ProPort. In this particular mode the ProPort
will b e set for input and output at 8,000 samples per second.
Pro11:
ProPort at 11,000 samples per second.
Pro16:
ProPort at 16,000 samples per second.
Pro32:
ProPort at 32,000 samples per second.
Pro44:
ProPort at 44,100 samples per second.
Pro48:
ProPort at 48,000 samples per second.
Pro96:
ProPort at 96,000 samples per second.
Pro-Int:
This ProPort mo de uses the
DAT-Link
+'s digital audio output
clock (set by the
-S
option above) as the ProPort's sample-rate clo ck.
IR:
The
DAT-Link
's infrared receiver is connected to the DSP32C's serial
input with clo cks generated by the DSP32C. The DSP32C's serial output
is unused.
