The
DAT-Link
+ can be used with external hardware connected via its
DSP-Port
as described in Section C.1. This includes most hardware that is designed to work
with the NeXT DSP-Port or with the DSP-Port found on Ariel Corp's digital signal
processing b oards. For most external hardware, the user must provide their own
DSP32C programs that are able to communicate with the equipment. The
DAT-
Link
+ do es, however, include support for two specic devices: Ariel's ProPort
Model 656, and TEAC's line of multichannel data DAT recorders.
