Modify the SP VLAN and name of the selected entry and click Edit to apply.
Note:
When VPN mode is globally enabled, VPN function takes effect on all ports. If VPN mode is
disabled, VLAN Mapping function can be enabled by selecting your desired port on this Port
Enable page.
Configuration Procedure of VLAN VPN Function:
Step Operation Description
1
Enable VPN mode. Required. On the VLANVLAN VPNVPN Config page,
enable the VPN mode.

Configure the global TPID. Optional. On the VLANVLAN VPNVPN Config page,
configure the global TPID basing on the devices connected
to the up-link port.

Set the VPN up-link port. Required. On the VLANVLAN VPNVPN Config page,
specify the desired port to be the VPN up-
link port. It’s
required to set the port connected to the backbone
networks to be up-link port.

Create VLAN Mapping
entries.
Required. On the VLANVLAN VPN
VLAN Mapping
page, configure t
he VLAN Mapping entries basing on the
actual application.
5
Create SP (Service
Provider) VLAN.
Optional. On the VLAN802.1Q VLAN
page, create the
SP VLAN. For the steps of creating VLAN, please refer to
802.1Q VLAN.
