jacket. The AureFlo

system should not be operated with damaged insulation on the AC power cords
or the USB cables.
4. PERIVASCULAR FLOWPROBES
Details, instructions and sterilization methods can be found in AU-IFU-ProbeSterilization “Cleaning &
Sterilization of Transonic
®
Flowprobes” which is supplied with each reusable Probe or is available from
the Transonic website www.transonic.com.

FLOWPROBES DO NOT CONTAIN LATEX MATERIALS OR PLASTICIZERS.
5. TUBING FLOWSENSORS
a) Rinse excess soil from the Flowsensor (temp < 30°C).
b) Using a soft brush, remove any visible foreign material using either 70% alcohol or detergent
solution for 3-5 minutes on all sensor surfaces. Use only those cleaning solutions approved by your
governing regulatory agency. When cleaning is performed, follow the manufacturer’s instructions
applicable to the cleaning solution.
c) Rinse using clean water.
NOTE: Connector surface may be wiped clean with the alcohol/detergent solution, taking care not to
damage the connector pins. Do not immerse the connector.
Examine the tubing Flowsensor after use for moisture. It is critical that the Sensor connector be
completely dry before use. Inspect cables for damage. Store Flowsensor at room temperature in a dry
place.
