6.3.1 Measuring in Min or Max Mode
1. Select
Min
or
Max
function. The corresponding
indicator shows the activated mode.

Probe the surface to be measured and displace the
insert or the part along the portion to be analysed.
The upper line of the display shows the current
position, the lower line shows the extreme position
of minimum or maximum reached respectively.
Note:
While probing, a zero setting or a preset will
reinitialise the display on the minimum or maximum
value measured.
6.3.2 Measuring in Delta Mode
1. Select
Delta
function. The corresponding indicator
shows the activated mode.
2. Probe the surface to be measured and move the
insert or the part along the portion to be analysed.
The upper line shows the current position of the
probe and the bottom line the difference between
the 2 extreme positions.
Note 1:
By pressing the
Zero
key, the Delta mode will be
reset and the display will show zero.
Note 2:
After releasing the insert from the surface, the value
of Delta is sent to the buffer together with the
values of Min and Max.
In "Graphical help" display mode, an indicator helps in
viewing the position of the measuring insert in relation to
the scanned extreme points.
