1.2 RS-232 CONNECTION
The RS-232 standard allows only a single point-to-point connection. The cable needed for the RS-232 communication is
a standard one with DB9 male and female connectors. The DB9 male is connected at the PCOM side and the DB9
female is connected at the customer DTE. The cable can be 15.2m (50 ft) long maximum. To connect to the RS232 via
(DB9), the switch SW7 must be set to (off/off/off) as shown below.
