External System Objects
The ROA external system objects are related to external systems (optional)
that use AviMet system data. They are created by the corresponding
external system service. For examples, see the following table.
Data Flow in ROA Architecture
The components of the ROA architecture form a complex whole. For each
principal AviMet function, there is a principal ROA process that creates
and manages the objects needed for that function, or uses objects created
by other processes.
The principal AviMet LLWAS functions can be divided into the following:
- Sensor data processing
- Alarm data processing
- History data processing
The following sections describe how the components of ROA architecture
process the system data flow related to these functions.
The following sections include charts that illustrate the flow of data
between ROA processes and ROA objects. The symbols presented in
Table 15 on page 37 are used in the data flow illustrations.
