Connection Control Panel
In the Connection Control panel you can establish connections to sensors
and other field devices, and view connection status and communication
settings. The available devices are listed on the left, and the port settings
can be seen on the right.

The following describes the Connection Control panel elements.

Element Description
Status Connection status: "Connected" or "Not Connected".
Name Name of the device, for example, Cloud_Sensor. The
list can be sorted by clicking the column header.
Type Type of the device, for example, PWD.
Port Port used for communicating with the device.
Location Location of the device, for example, 10L.
Devices connected
through port
List of devices connected through the port.
Settings Shows the port settings for the selected device and the
port settings. See Table 42 on page 94.
Click the Connect button to connect to the selected
device, through the server selected from the list next to
the button.
