Tools Panel
The Tools panel contains buttons that provide access to other AviMet
maintenance applications, for example, to IO Terminal. Typically, there is
also a button for the ASCII Log View application for archived data. Other
system-specific buttons may be available. For more information on the
applications, refer to the corresponding chapters in this manual.
Operating Diagnostics Application
Starting and Exiting Diagnostics
The Diagnostics application starts automatically when you log in.
Keep the application open at all times to ensure that you notice all events,
especially alarms and warnings. If your system includes the optional sound
alarm and you minimize the Diagnostics application, make sure that the
volume is ON so that you will be able to hear the sound alarms when they
occur.
To open a minimized Diagnostics application, click the Diagnostics button
or the Diagnostic icon on the taskbar.
