1. Use the System Status panel to find out which object is missing.
2. Restart the parent process for the object. See section Restarting a
Process on page 87.
3. If this does not help, make a CDU switch-over and reboot the CDU
with the problem.
If the status is Violation, that is, too many objects exist, contact Vaisala to
check the system configuration.
MISSING OR TOO MANY PROCESSES
DETECTED BY SERVER X
This message indicates that there is an incorrect number of ROA processes
in the system. The cause of the problem can be one of the following:
- A ROA process is not running.
- There is an unlicensed application running in the system.
To find out the cause and solve the problem, do the following on the RCM
workstation:
1. In the Diagnostics application, check from the System status panel if
there are missing processes:
-If the Missing processes column is red, click the number in the
column to display the list of processes.
- Check which process is missing and continue from section
Restarting a Process on page 87.
2. Check from the All applications column the statuses of the
applications. Status "Unknown" or "Violation" means there is an extra
workstation application running in the system usually because a user
has started an unlicensed application.
- Check the IP address of the workstation from the Address
column.
- Inform the user of that workstation to close the unlicensed
application.
