System Status for External Usage
AviMet software includes several optional external interfaces that can
provide the certain system status information to the other systems.
Section Events Panel on page 61 describes the generated events. These
events can be transmitted in ASCII format to the preconfigured location.
Possible transmission methods are, for example, serial line connection,
TCP/IP connection, FTP, SMS, and e-mail.
Section Device Details Panel (In Overview Panel) on page 66 describes the
available device information. The AviMet system can work as an SNMP
agent and transmit the device status information. The SNMP interface can
be set on even if the optional Device details panel would not be included.
