Checking Log Printer (Optional)
Some systems include an optional log printer. Normally, the log printer
prints system events displayed in the Diagnostics application.
Check that the printer is always switched on and that paper feeding is
working correctly. If the printer is offline for a period of time or there is a
paper jam that goes undetected for several hours, print jobs in queue may
fill the print buffer of the Windows® operating system. The print buffer
size is 1000 print jobs by default, that is, for example, 1000 alarms.
When the printer starts working again, it will print all jobs from the buffer.
You might want to delete old jobs from the print buffer. Delete the old print
jobs using the operating system tools. For information on using the tools,
see the operating system manuals.
