Chapter 5 _______________________________________________________________ Diagnostics
VAISALA_______________________________________________________________________ 51
Figure 9 on page 50 shows all available options in the system. However,
each user group has only a preconfigured set of the options available.
Depending on the system configuration, the panels may be opened and
closed using the plus/minus icon on the corners of the panels.
In addition, other AviMet maintenance applications can be accessed
through the Tools panel of the Diagnostics application.
The elements of the Diagnostics application are briefly described in the
following sections. For specific instructions on how to use the application,
see section Operating Diagnostics Application on page 67.
System Status Panel
The System Status panel displays the identification data and status of the
CDU(s) in the AviMet system. In duplicated systems there is a status row
for each CDU, in single-CDU system there is only one status row.
The icon in the Heartbeat column is normally green. Red icon indicates a
system problem. Similarly, red color in the Missing processes column
indicates problems.
