8.3 CHECKING AND ADJUSTING THE BELT TENSION VISUAL INSPECTION
WARNING
Unauthorized commissioning!
Risk of injury and damage to the device.
The cover has to be removed during setup work.
Ensure that the system cannot be accidentally turned on without authorization!
Note:
The following instructions on belt tension apply to all device heights.
Belt tension should be checked every 6 months.

8.3.1 CHECKING THE BELT TENSION
Procedure:
1. Switch o the reciprocator.
2. Remove the reciprocator's front cover.
3. Switch the reciprocator back on again and allow it to run at its rated speed.
4. During start-up, observe the drive belt from the lower reversal point, where the
drive belt enters the frame.
The drive belt must not have any visible deection at this point.
