8.5 REPLACE THE BALLBEARING GUIDES

Procedure:
1. Switch o the system using the emergency stop button.
2. Remove the front protective cover.
3. Mechanically secure the lifting slide (1).
4. Loosen the screws (2).
5. Push the ball-bearing guide (3) up or down (the lower ball-bearing guides down,
the upper ball-bearing guides up) and move it out of the guide rail.
6. Move the new ball-bearing guide into the guide rail from above or below and into
the corresponding position.
7. Fasten the ball-bearing guide with screws (2).
8. Replace all ball-bearing guides consecutively.
9. Clean the guide rails with a suitable cleaning agent and then apply a light coat of
lubricant again.
10. Check the belt tension.
11. Re-mount the front protective cover.
