3. Slide the sampling cone assembly out of the ion block assembly.
Disassembling the sampling cone assembly
Required materials
• Chemical-resistant, powder-free gloves
• Combined 2.5-mm Allen wrench and cone extraction tool
To disassemble the sampling cone assembly
Caution: Do not open the isolation valve at any time when the
sampling cone assembly has been removed from the ion block
assembly.
Warning: The sampling cone assembly can be contaminated with
biohazardous and/or toxic materials. Always wear
chemical-resistant, powder-free gloves while performing this
procedure.
